We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated
individual for the Talent Acquisition Advisor - Sourcing role
within the Talent Acquisition team. This position is responsible
for proactively identifying, attracting, and engaging talent to
support WorkSafeBC's current and future workforce needs. The Talent
Acquisition Advisor, Sourcing partners
closely with recruiters, hiring leaders, and People & Culture stakeholders
to develop sourcing strategies, build diverse talent pipelines, and connect
qualified candidates with meaningful career opportunities.
The incumbent
will leverage a variety of sourcing tools, market intelligence, and
talent research techniques to identify and engage passive and active
candidates across a broad range of roles. They will also be responsible
for maintaining talent pools, providing insights on talent market
trends, and supporting recruitment strategies that enhance the efficiency,
quality, and inclusivity of hiring outcomes. Through strong
relationship-building, data-informed decision-making, and a candidate-focused
approach, the Talent Acquisition Advisor - Sourcing contributes
to WorkSafeBC's ability to attract top talent and achieve its
organizational goals.
This is a temporary role for eighteen months.

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor - Sourcing, you
will:
- Develop and execute
proactive talent sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates across a
variety of business areas and specialized skill sets.
- Conduct talent mapping
and market research to identify talent pools, competitor activity,
emerging workforce trends, and sourcing opportunities.
- Build, cultivate,
and maintain pipelines of passive and active candidates for current
and future hiring needs.
- Leverage LinkedIn
Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, professional networks, databases,
and other sourcing tools to identify and engage top talent.
- Support in the design
and implementation of innovative outreach campaigns that strengthen
candidate engagement and increase response rates.
- Partner with Talent
Acquisition professionals, hiring managers, and other
stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies aligned
with staffing needs and business priorities.
- Promote WorkSafeBC's employer
brand through targeted outreach, networking initiatives, industry events,
community partnerships, and virtual engagement opportunities.
- Analyze talent market
conditions and provide insights that support recruitment planning and workforce
decision-making.
- Track, monitor, and
report on sourcing effectiveness, pipeline health, candidate conversion
metrics, and recruitment trends.
- Recommend process
improvements, sourcing technologies, and recruitment marketing initiatives to
enhance organizational recruiting effectiveness.
- Support
difficult-to-fill and specialized searches through creative sourcing techniques
and direct candidate engagement.
- Ensure an exceptional
candidate experience through timely, professional, and meaningful
communication throughout the talent attraction process.
- Contribute to continuous
improvement initiatives that advance WorkSafeBC's talent acquisition
strategy and sourcing capability.
- Consistently model

into actionable recruitment recommendations.
- Identify and engage passive candidates through
networking, direct-sourcing, and relationship-building techniques.
- Use data and analytics to evaluate sourcing effectiveness
and influence recruitment decisions.
- Develop compelling candidate engagement approaches that
strengthen employer brand awareness.
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers, Talent
Acquisition colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Think creatively and challenge traditional recruitment
approaches to solve talent attraction challenges.
- Play a key
role in upskilling the internal team by
sharing sourcing expertise, best practices, and market
insights.
- Leverage technology, automation, and recruiting tools to
improve efficiency and candidate outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with candidates and stakeholders
while delivering exceptional service.
- Stay current on sourcing
methodologies, talent acquisition trends, labour market intelligence,
and recruitment technologies.
Your background and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, communications,
marketing, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three years of talent sourcing,
recruitment, or talent acquisition experience within a large, complex
organization.
- Demonstrated experience sourcing passive candidates using
LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, SeekOut, talent databases, social networking platforms, and other sourcing technologies.
- Proficiency working with recruiting and people-related
tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases,
internet sourcing tools, and various reporting tools.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, customer
relationship management tools, and recruitment analytics platforms.
- Strong ability to interpret
and leverage recruitment and sourcing metrics to drive
decisions.
- Experience conducting
market research, talent mapping, and workforce intelligence activities.
Experience with Oracle recruiting cloud is
preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will
be considered.
