Do you have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working through a variety of tasks and responsibilities? We’re looking for a support clerk to assist with queueing work for the Service Centre. If you enjoy the variety of providing front counter service, coupled with administrative support duties, consider joining us for this 12-month temporary opportunity.
How you’ll make a difference:
You’ll utilize your skills in office administration and customer service to assist our team.
Where you’ll work
In this role, you'll work in our Richmond office five days a week.
As a support clerk you will:
- Handle province-wide employer telephone calls regarding clearance status and guide callers on how to access and use the Clearance application on the WorkSafeBC website
- Provide outstanding customer service for walk-in customers at the front counter regarding inquiries, accepts payments, and direct customers to an Employer Service Representative when necessary
- Receive, confirm, and set up employer refunds created by Service Centre co-workers and liaise with the accounting department to ensure special instructions are followed regarding refunds
- Handle and index incoming digital mail
- Batch, scan, and index incoming documents required for employer files
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Rotate through a variety of tasks and responsibilities
- Provide excellent in-person and over the phone customer service
- Organize and process incoming and outgoing correspondence
Your background and experience
- A minimum of grade 12 education
- Use Microsoft Word and Excel proficiently

Salary : $25.41/hourly
