Are you a seasoned OHS professional with strong legal expertise? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Prevention, Practice, Quality and Engineering (PPQE) department as a Senior Prevention Advisor.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of PPQE, this position is responsible for providing analysis, advice, and leadership on prevention matters to staff within the Prevention Services, and participating in related policy, practice, planning, and decision-making activities, including research, development and management of solutions to complex practice issues, and strategic and quality initiatives.

At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely, and in our offices based on the operational needs of the position.
This is a temporary opportunity for 18 months.

Your experience and educational background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law is strongly preferred
- This position requires a graduate degree in a relevant field of study, ideally with experience of the Workers Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation.
- A minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in the interpretation and application of legislative, policy and practice requirements

Salary: $116,186 - $141,166/ yearly
