Do you have experience leading multi-disciplinary teams with a passion to make a difference in the recovery and return to work of persons injured in the course of the employment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Client Services in Return to Work Services. Our department provides claims-specific support, intervention, consultation, and education to injured workers and employers, throughout the recovery and return to work journey. You’ll provide leadership to a team that provides claims management oversight for most soft tissue injuries, along with return-to-work planning and support to workers and their employers during recovery.
In this role you’ll manage operations within the department and return to work services teams focused on the rehabilitation, recovery, and return to work of injured workers in collaboration with their employers. You’ll be responsible for ensuring department and organizational goals are met, fostering continuing quality improvements and innovation, and creating a supportive work environment with open communication and teamwork.
How you’ll make a difference: You’ll provide compassionate, supportive service to people injured at work as well as support employers to achieve their return to work obligations in a respectful and responsive manner.
Where you’ll work
At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely, and in our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.
In this role, you’ll work primarily from our Kelowna office, with some flexibility to work from your home in B.C.

- Achieve positive outcomes despite stressors – demonstrating a high level of personal resiliency, applying strong organization and time management skills
Your background and experience
- A bachelor’s degree – A degree in a health-related field is an asset
- A minimum of five years of experience in a role providing leadership in disability management, return to work practices, or adjudication
- Sound project management skills
- Presentation skills including the ability to create and deliver PowerPoint presentations
- Knowledge of the Workers Compensation Act and/or claims management experience
