Do you have experience providing clerical support in a medical office or healthcare environment and have a good command of medical terminology? We have an opportunity for a permanent medical office assistant to work in the Visiting Specialist Clinic. You’ll perform a variety of administrative duties to support the Visiting Specialist Clinic, which offers a range of specialist services to ensure that injured workers are expeditiously assessed and receive the appropriate treatments or service as determined by a specialist.
How you’ll make a difference: You’ll build and empower collaborative partnerships that enable resources for workers, employers, health care providers, and other key stakeholders.

We’re looking for people who can:
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Obtain and record information both orally and in writing
Your background and experience
- Completion of grade 12
- Able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
- Use knowledge of medical terminology and medical spelling
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word
